What's in a construction drawing set?

When you buy a plan you choose which drawing sets you need. Here is what each one covers.

Architectural drawings

Floor plans, elevations, sections and a roof plan. These show the layout and look of the house, and are what most councils ask for first.

Structural drawings

Foundation, column, beam and slab details prepared by an engineer. Builders need them to size reinforcement and concrete correctly.
